About PrimDB

PrimDB is one platform for Deploy, Data, Auth, and AI. Push a repo and get a live URL. Attach a managed Postgres, Redis, search, or object store in seconds. Sign your users in with email/password, magic link, or passkeys, with their records in your own Postgres, and point your agents at a native MCP endpoint. One control plane instead of six dashboards stitched together with glue code and surprise bills.

Your whole backend, one home

Most projects do not fail because a database is hard. They stall in the gaps between services: a deploy platform here, a database vendor there, a separate auth provider, a cache, a search index, and a pile of connection strings and webhooks to wire them together. Every seam is somewhere to lose time and money.

PrimDB closes those seams. Deploy, data, auth, and an agent API live in one place and already know about each other, so credentials are wired in for you and there is nothing to reconcile by hand. That is the whole thesis: your backend should have one home, not seven tabs.

Built for agents

PrimDB speaks MCP. Claude, Cursor, and Codex can deploy code, read and migrate your data, and hand preview feedback back through a single endpoint. You describe the change and your agent ships it, using the same API you would use by hand. Agent-native is a design choice here, not a bolt-on.

Hosted in the EU

PrimDB runs on infrastructure we host in the EU (Hetzner, Germany). Your data lives in Europe by default, with per-tenant isolation across databases, caches, and storage, and encrypted secrets. If you would rather run on your own machine, you can enroll a server of your own with one install command and deploy to it from the same dashboard and the same agent API: your servers or ours, one control plane. Simple, honest pricing

There is a real free tier to kick the tires, a $5 Solo tier, and a flat $20/month Platform tier. No per-seat charges, no surprise egress fees, and unlimited collaborators on every tier. Payments run through Stripe. See the pricing page for the full breakdown.

Where we are today

Honest note. PrimDB is in early access. It is small and moving fast, built in the open by a tiny team rather than a big company with a logo wall. That means honest defaults, a public changelog, and a direct line to the people building it. It also means some rough edges: if you hit one, tell us and it gets fixed.
