Acceptable Use & Abuse Policy

What you may not run on PrimDB, the shared-infrastructure fair-use expectation, how to report abuse, and how we respond to it.

Last updated: July 20, 2026

PrimDB is shared infrastructure. This Acceptable Use Policy keeps the platform safe for every tenant. It applies to everything you deploy and to how you use the platform and its APIs. It supplements the Terms of Service.

1. Prohibited uses

You may not use PrimDB to host, distribute, or facilitate:

  • Phishing — deceptive pages or campaigns that harvest credentials or impersonate others.
  • Malware — viruses, ransomware, spyware, or any code intended to harm or gain unauthorized access to systems.
  • Spam — bulk unsolicited messaging, or infrastructure that sends or supports it.
  • Illegal content — content that is unlawful where you or your users are, including material that exploits or endangers minors.
  • Crypto-mining abuse — unauthorized or resource-abusive cryptocurrency mining.
  • Resource abuse — deliberately exhausting shared RAM, CPU, disk, bandwidth, or connections, or circumventing fair-use limits.
  • Attacks on the platform or tenants — attempts to break tenant isolation, escalate privileges, access another tenant’s data, or disrupt the platform or other tenants (including DoS, scanning, or exploitation).

2. Shared-infrastructure fair use

PrimDB runs your workloads on shared infrastructure with per-tenant RAM, CPU, and disk limits enforced to protect everyone. Sustained abuse of these limits, or attempts to work around them, is a violation of this policy even if the workload is otherwise lawful.

3. Reporting abuse

If you find content or activity on PrimDB that violates this policy, report it to abuse@primdb.com or through the in-product report form (POST /api/abuse). Please include the URL or project involved and a short description so we can act quickly.

4. How we respond

  • We review reports and may suspend or terminate apps or accounts that violate this policy.
  • For severe abuse such as phishing or malware, we reserve the right to act immediately, including taking the offending app offline without prior notice, to protect users and the platform.
  • Where practical and lawful, we will notify the account and give a chance to remedy less-severe violations.
  • We may preserve and share information with law enforcement where required by law.

Honest note. Acting on severe abuse quickly is a feature, not a threat: it protects the other tenants sharing the platform. We aim to be proportionate and to give notice whenever it is safe to do so.
