Is the free tier actually free?
Yes. The Free plan is $0 forever with no credit card. You get real projects, a managed Postgres that never sleeps, and a compute pool to kick the tires on a side project.
How does billing work right now?
PrimDB is in early access. The Free tier is what you get today. The paid tiers below are the published plan shape, and paid billing is rolling out, so start free and grow into a paid tier when it fits.
What do the paid tiers add?
A bigger compute pool, unlimited projects and custom domains, the feedback overlay, more managed databases (including ClickHouse on Platform), and the ability to bring your own server (the first is free) or have us run a dedicated one. Every tier, including Free, has unlimited collaborators.
What happens if I hit a monthly limit?
Monthly limits reset on the 1st. Builds soft-warn at 80% and hard-stop at 100%, so there are no surprise overage bills.
