Deploy Bun apps where Bun is a first-class citizen

PrimDB is built on Bun. Push your repo, get a live URL with previews, and attach managed Postgres, Redis, and auth from the same place.

How it works

How to deploy a Bun app on PrimDB

A repo to a live URL, with data wired in.

  1. Connect your repo

Point PrimDB at your Bun repository. Every push builds and hands you a live URL.

  2. Preview every change

Each pull request gets an isolated preview with a feedback overlay. A change gets reviewed before anyone ships it.

  3. Attach data

Provision managed Postgres, Redis, or search. The credentials land in your environment on their own.

  4. Add auth

Email/password, magic link, and passkeys are built in, with your users in your own Postgres. Your Bun service gets identity without a separate provider.

One platform

Why Bun is at home here

  1. PrimDB itself runs on Bun. This is a runtime we care about and use daily, not one we tolerate.

  2. Your database, cache, and auth attach to the deploy. A Bun service has its data from the first request.

  3. Agents deploy your Bun app and read its data over the same MCP endpoint.

Honest note. PrimDB builds and deploys from a Git repo, and PrimDB itself runs on Bun. It is still early access in a single EU region: the docs list which Bun versions and build settings work today.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Can I deploy a Bun app on PrimDB?
Yes. PrimDB builds and deploys from a Git repo and PrimDB itself is built on Bun. You get a live URL, previews per pull request, and can attach managed Postgres, Redis, search, storage, and auth. For supported Bun versions, see the docs.
Does using Bun make deploys faster?
Bun is fast at installs and builds, which helps. We would rather point you at the docs than quote a benchmark, so check the current build behavior there.
